Wood connection – Rini Brakkee en Joos van Bekkum

What connects mother and daughter artists Joos van Bekkum and Rini Brakkee, is besides a familial bond, a love for trees and wood. Rini lives in the city, Joos in the countryside. Rini saves wood from the garbage truck, Joos from rot and decay. By adding colour and refining the composition, planks and branches transform into art.
