The name “Groeten van Marc” is derived from the poem by Flemish poet Paul van Ostaijen (1896-1928):

hello fishy-fish with the cap
cap and pipe

The way Marc starts his day, full of joy about his surroundings, is how we want to live as well. To connect with things and people it helps to look at them closely, and then to be able to express your views well. Every artwork is a way to say “Hello-oo!” to the world.
