teacher
Monday and Tuesday: Rini Brakkee
Wednesday and Thursday: Lieselot Versteeg
Do you like to make great paintings? Or to draw small comic strips? Do you like to build a spaceship of cardboard? Or a papier maché castle? Do you want to learn how to draw a horse that looks very real? It is all possible at Atelier Greetings from Marc. So the drawing lesson is also a painting, collage and craft lesson!
Each lesson starts with an exercise that is meant to teach you something about drawing and painting, about old and new art, or to give you an idea for a new work of art. For example, we are going to sign ourselves as superhero, or put chance to work as the surrealists already did, or make a mask. In the exercises we will discover chalk, pencil, acrylic oil and watercolor paint, felt pen, collage, charcoal, paper maché, stamping, clay and much more. We also view each lesson together what has been made, so that you learn not only from the teacher but also from each other. Twice a year we organize an exhibition in the studio with your artworks!
Teacher Rini Brakkee has a lot of experience in giving creative lessons to children. The most important thing is fun and self-confidence, then learning comes naturally. She is curious about every child and their ambitions. Rini teaches Mondays and Tuesdays
Lieselot Versteeg teaches on Wednesday and Thursday. Teaching and facilitating creative processes of children are an important part of her practice. As a freelancer she teaches classes and workshops in a number of primary schools in Amsterdam.
