Do you want to advance your drawings and paintings? Would you like to learn new techniques, study famous artists, and create your vision? That is exactly what we will be doing in the drawing and painting course for teenagers.
Every class starts with an exercise meant to teach you a new technique or give you an idea for your own artwork. For example we draw a portrait of ourselves as a superhero, copy the style of Claude Monet, or play a surrealist game. In these exercises we will explore crayons, oil paint, pencil, felt-tip pen, collage, charcoal, stamps, acrylic paint, and many more techniques and materials.
When you are finished with the exercise you can work on your own artwork, and of course the teacher will help you with that. At the end of each class we jointly look at the works to learn from each other. Twice a year we have an exhibition of your art!
Teacher Rini Brakkee has a lot of experience with teaching creative classes for children. The most important thing is to have fun and confidence, then learning will follow naturally. She is curious to get to know each student and their ambitions.
